Benchmark Business Advisors can also assist buyers in their search for a business. Initially, we consult with you to establish your acquisition criteria and to determine your financial qualifications, skill sets and business acumen. A Confidentiality Agreement, Brokerage Disclosure, Financial Statement and Buyer Profile are completed at this time. From this criteria we search and identify potential businesses of interest. Once a business of interest is identified, we assist you in gathering and reviewing the information to better understand the opportunity and to make a sound decision.

After an initial dialogue has been established with the seller(s) we assist you to with obtaining answers from the seller regarding your questions about the businesses under consideration. If further interest is warranted, we can schedule visits to the seller’s facilities. If a suitable target is identified we can assist you in developing and presenting an offer. A purchase agreement contract is then prepared and made available for review by your attorney, accountant, and advisors. Benchmark acts as an intermediary in negotiating the details of the purchase agreement contract between you and the seller.
